Bio

I grew up in Grinnell, Iowa. From there, I went to Cornell University's College of Engineering and graduated in 2009.  From 2009 to 2011, I worked as an engineer the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and lived in Washington, DC. I was then a graduate student in astrophyics at MIT and lived in Somerville, MA. After earning a Master's degree, I returned to engineering in the Imaging Spectroscopy group at JPL.

My brother, Matt, lives with his wife in Baltimore, and my parents now live in Arlington, VA.
